GoldPriceBD's Gold Price Calculator helps users estimate the value of gold using a selected country, gold purity, weight and available market price data.
Automatic mode uses the GoldPriceBD data system. The calculator loads the selected country's available gold price and displays the corresponding price per gram.
Users can calculate gold values in grams, kilograms, tola, bhori and troy ounces. The calculator converts the selected weight to grams before performing the calculation.
An optional additional charge can be entered as either a fixed amount or a percentage of the calculated gold value.
Manual Price mode is available when users want to calculate using a custom price that is not available in the current GoldPriceBD data source.
All results are estimates. Actual jewellery prices may differ because of making charges, taxes, wastage, dealer margins and other applicable costs.

Can I add making or other charges?

Is the BDT conversion always available?
No. The calculator only displays a BDT equivalent when valid conversion data is available. It does not invent an exchange rate when one is unavailable.
Which gold purities are supported?
Purity options are loaded from the available GoldPriceBD price records for the selected country.
Is this the final jewellery price?
No. The calculator provides an estimated gold value. Actual jewellery prices may include additional costs such as taxes, making charges and wastage.
Does the calculator invent missing exchange rates?
No. If a valid BDT conversion is unavailable, the calculator keeps the original currency result and clearly indicates that a BDT conversion is unavailable.
